For my 3-D dropcap, I continued working with the letter A. I was experimenting with q-tips, and the idea I had in mind worked well with the lines of the capital A.
For my drop cap I'd been working with the letter A. For the first, I was going for an organic feel. After listening to feedback from the class, I went back and removed the angles and tried to make it even more plant-like.
